If you can attend the Kalamazoo Refugee Resource Collaborative meetings at Solid Grounds Ministry on Western Michigan University's campus, you can be introduced to non-profits and individuals doing refugee work in the Kalamazoo area such as Michigan Works, Bethany Christian Services, Samaritas, churches, etc. Members at the meeting can bring you into the refugee resettlement network. You can park in the Solid Grounds parking lot or in the Kalamazoo College Athletic parking lot (to the east of the house). Solid Grounds Ministry is located at 1720 W. Michigan Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI.

The meetings are typically the first Friday of the month from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

If you are not able to make the meetings, please contact us via e-mail and we will help connect you to a volunteer opportunity of your choice.
